The Indi Project helps children to move out of poverty by promoting education, health and nutrition for those who are orphaned and disadvantaged in Kenya. It inspires community participation within Kenya and focuses on this local involvement to develop responsible and positive citizens and self sustainability of the projects work. In the UK the Charity encourages support from groups and schools, through the development of an international ethos linked to the educational curriculum. It promotes an appreciation of diversity and a respect and value for others, developing good citizenship and a wider sense of international issues. The Indi Project provides opportunities for Kenyan children to enjoy their childhood away from the often harsh realities of their life, giving hope for their future, through education. This project relies entirely on fundraising.
